    Any half-decent video editor should do rolling text.

    If your software doesn't have a good tittle maker, but supports transparent and motion layers, then it is a simple method of creating the text you want in Photoshop or your editor of choice with a transparent background. Then import into your video editor, set transparency, then set the motion in the direction you desire.

    I'm not sure, but you may be able to do this in Movie Maker 2, and it's free.
    Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........

  7. I used SubStation Alpha for scrolling credits, on a quick home movie a few weeks back. First time use. Great tool !

    If you use VDub, there is a filter that takes SSA files and lets you cut/join/etc. the Text to your vid clips.
