i was just wondering if you could join 2 sub (.srt) files together.

for instance...

say i had 2 avi movies and 2 sub (.srt) files. then i join the 2 avi files together. is there a way to join the 2 sub files together making it so that i'd have 1 avi file and 1 sub file? without adding subs permanently that is.
