what program do i use to put text into my video? +other qs

so im trying to put together a vcd of some videos i made, how do i put text into the video? also is there a program that extracts the audio track of the video so that i can edit the audio? also is there a program that helps you do special effects, like inserting things into the video, etc.

so if im using Ulead, how do i put text into the movie?

1. Once you load the video into Video Studio, select Titles.

2. Click in the screen, and a square outline shows up. Type your text inside. As you type, a Reset and Add buttons appear on the lower left.

3. When you have fished typing in your text, you can format it animate etc., then press Add.

4. Save the project, then save the video.
