  1. I've used stills quite a bit before without too much problem. Resize to 720x540 and go. Now I'm having a problem with them not showing up in the video. Either during playback or after encoding (TMPGenc). I thought I had it isolated once when it looked like some non-working pictures were at 72 resolution and working onces at 300. Made them all 300. Now I'm consistant, it doesn't seem like any of them are working.

Anybody know why I'm having this problem? These are jpegs resized with Adobe Elements. Is there a fundamental issue here. Sometimes I thought that the playback problem might just be a video card hangup after messing with too many video/digital images.

Now I'm past rhyme and reason and frustrated with a deadline. (Priemere 6.0x with a Pinn. DV500 on XP

Try converting format to bmp. If that doesn't work, maybe reinstall Premiere.

    That's a strange one.
Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........

Had the same problem when choosing 'maintain aspect ratio' for some jpegs. If the jpeg had to shrink horizontally, it would work ok. If the jpeg had to shrink vertically, it would show only the background color.

    I think it's a bug in 6.0
