  1. I just wanted to say that I am very happy with these http://www.allmediaoutlet.com/P-DVD-R-4XRitek-LOGO.html

I just got thru 100 and have had great results. They are $135 for 100 shipped in the US.

I have a DVR-104 drive with the 1.40 firmware. I burn at 2x almost always out to the last 1meg on the disc. They work great in my Sony changer CX870D which is not supposed work with DVD-R too well.

They also work fine in my shinco and samsung. I'd expect that.

That's a pretty good price... does the dvd look as grotesque in real life?

  3. I hate the Pink Riteks! (DVD+R w/ Logo) who ever designed it should be Terminated! (with a dull knife!) I'll stick with the silver ones....

They work fine but are ugly as a $2 ho.

  4. I'm begining to love the ugly orange. What you miss from the site pics is the lovely landscape scene on the discs. Who knows what they were thinking.

I did a Grateful Dead disc on one and gave it to someone to test. They thought I had printed some GD art on the disc.

Landscape design huh? Does it look like mountains in Taiwan? Or do you think that they "Americanized" it and put in the Colorado Rockies? Does the orange color represent sunset over the landscape???? Hmm.. questions I should pose to Ritek...

These are truly fugly discs. I really hate orange.

And the little black design thing is all over the place, and leaves little room to write on, especially if you use extra-fine-tipped markers, not those huge honkin' sharpies. It only vaguely looks like anything, maybe a landscape... which makes no sense.

But don't judge a book by its cover. :P

I'm about 75 through my 100 pack, and they've all been great so far. In a month or two, hoping they still exist, I'm sure I'll grab another 100.

It's not like I stare at the tops of the discs anyway.

  7. I stopped using a Sharpe and started using labels when I got a 25 pack. I'll never do that again! Uggg! I'm now using hub labels on the ritek silver tops and it looks nice!
