I'm looking for a review comparisment between DiVX Pro 5.0x and Xvid. Which one is capable of providing better quality vs. smaller file sizes? Pros Cons, etc..
I have some pretty damn looking XviDs (780kb) which look far better than a DVD I've encoded with DrDivX 1.02 (1,300 kb).
Any tips are highly appreciated!

well if it looks better to you, then there's your answer!
Quality is totally subjective, what may look good to you, looks crap to someone else. DJrumpy thinks MPEG4 compressions look good, i don't.
With picture quality there are no hard and fast rules. just make plenty of samples, and choose for youself what you prefer.

Would synch mostly occur on DVD to DivX, or XviD to DivX?
