I am using CCE basic and assuming the size of the file is not an issue, which is going to yield a better picture: 2 pass VBR or 2 pass CBR at a high bitrate?

The purpose of VBR is to keep the same detectable quality while having a lower bitrate. With CBR, you are going to have the same quality ( obviously) throughout. So techincally if file size is not a problem, go with CBR at ~8000kb/s.

No sense using 2-pass CBR, 1 pass is enough.Originally Posted by JCO"Art is making something out of nothing and selling it." - Frank Zappa
