  1. ok i see MiniDVD at some places and iv seen the DVD template for TMPGenc and i was wondering what is it? What is it for iv look around the net for stuff on it but came up wiht nothing really helpfull. And i Was wondering it says Apex -500 can play MiniDVD can Apex 500A play them?

  2. miniDVD or cDVD is a DVD image burnt onto CD-R media (note: DVDs are NOT CD-based media -- they just come on a 12 cm sized disc).

    This is not a standard and very few stand-alone players will play these discs (but they should work on most software DVD players on your PC).

    I don't believe (I'm fairly certain actually) that the Apex will not play miniDVDs. The only confirmed players are the portable AIWA models and the Afreey and its clones.

  4. as the formers said the number of playes that can play minidvd is very little
    the affrey can do it i don`t know about the apex
    what it does is that it seaches for the software (directories) on the cd rather then your regular standalone players who will only play dvd when a dvd disc is inserted.

    when you use minidvd you sould lower the resokution because you will probebly be using a lower bitrate and you will get crapy results if you work fullscreen.

  5. OK i sort of get it i looked at the site and i remember playing with a DVD program that makes menu and stuff. OK im just gonna stick to my SVCD at the moment. thanks for the help.
