does it matter if udf or iso mode is used? what's the difference?

Hi,
From my limited experience. I've noted that UDF DVDs can take files that are greater then 2Gigs whereas the DVD-ISO format cannot. I've also found the ISO format to be more compatible then UDF in some DVD players.
