  1. Hi !

I'd like to know if/how can I burn a VCD with Nero 5.5 and, _after that_, add non-video data to this CD.
I know I can add non-video data to the VCD during the process of creating it, but Nero always seems to create a closed disc (the 'leave disc open' option is checked and greyed out). What I'd like to do is leave the disc open, and add the non-video data later (kind of a multisession VCD). Is this possible with Nero ? Or maybe other burning software ?

    Thanks,

    Wesley

You can't leave the discs open at all. If it's a must to add after authoring you must use Vcd Gear v2.0 gui to extract and convert the dat's back to mpg's. Then re-author and add your folder / files during your burning. I don't know of any packages that will leave the discs open following burning (Nero, EZCD CR 5, NTI, WinONCd, etc...)

  3. You can easily add additional files on a VCD with Nero by simply dragging those files onto the VCD filesystem panel.

    You cannot burn multisession VCDs.
