    I made a xvcd and when i play it in my toshiba dvd player it works but it freezes and has blocks in it. How can you get rid of it. I converted from avi to xvcd with TMPGEnc with a bit rate of 1473 so the movie will fit on two cds.

    does the image still freeze if you encode at 1150 kbps? if not then your player adheres strictly to specs and you can't watch XVCD's just VCD's.
    Have you looked your player up in the players list on the left?
