  1. What is FAT32 and NTFS and which one is better?/ how can i convert from FAT 32 to NTFS (if i can)?

    Differences: http://www.ntfs.com/ntfs_vs_fat.htm

    Convert: At Command Prompt.... C:\> CONVERT C: /fs:ntfs then reboot.

    NTFS allows > 4Gb files. Therefore it is better for Video Capture, etc

    NTFS is supposed to be better as it supports an unlimited filesize while FAT32 has a 4gb file size limit. XP supports NTFS. Unlimited filesize is good if you capture dv as 20 min of dv = 4GB.

    at school we capped over 10 hours of video to make a 45 minute promotional of a car show.
