I am using VCDImagerEasy, the newest version available (the one that comes with CDRDAO, etc.)
My question is that can I add multiple MPEGs to the list so that when I play the SVCD with chapters from my DVD player they play flawlessly through, without pause or any notice that there was a chapter there? Or will the video or audio pause for a short second or two? I want it like DVDs you know, like when there is a chapter, it just goes right past it and you don't even know it was there (unless you had OSD on or you skipped to it, you know what I mean).
Don't understand? Take it like this:
2 Chapters: 1 with a picture of a ball moving from the left side of the screen to the half way point, the other with the ball continuing from the half way point to the right side of the screen; The MPEG was split into two from 1 MPEG of the ball going straight from left to right, music playing continuously in the background.
Will the chapters play so that the result is a video where music plays without pausing and the ball doesn't jerk or stop?

just use tscv --- the gui
http://www.ttool.de
all you have to do open the program (after it is all installed and whatnot)
on the settings tab, enter you volum-id (ball_movin)
check off the enable xml: use keypad to jump chapters
put in whatever settings you use (most of them should be set already)
set an output bin file
show the program where your tmpgenc.exe is
show the program where your vcdimager is....should be in your tscv directory
then go to the menu tab...click on the cd....then add mpg...open your mpg
when the vfapi guide pops up, push cancel
double click on the mpg that was just added to the menu screen under the menu tab
this will take you to the chapter tab
in this chapter tab you can enter chapters however you like
(just press enter after each one)
when your done, just click create cue/bin
go to the how to author section of this vcdhelp.com....to see how to burn the bin
hope it helps

OK... think maybe you stumbled on my problem (the reason I went as far as using I-Author to make my disc images...)
TSCV, VCDImager always (I do mean always) made discs where if I had 3-4 movies on 1 disc, the last 2 seconds would freeze before it continued on to the next track, and you'd miss the last 2 seconds that were frozen (none would play to completion). This is when you play it on the PC, and everything works fine.
You said to check off "use XML for numeric pad"... does this effect the freezing problem? To make them seamless betwee tracks?
By "seamless", I mean track 1 plays all the way through, then track 2 plays, then 3, but no cut-offs or freezing before the end. Does not mean in the middle of a scene.
