IDVD quits???

I have made a homemovie in imovie and tranferred it to idvd. Tried to burn the project but IDVD quits in the multiplex and burning process..it burns a little bit on the disc.
I have recently upgraded my pioneer 105 with a new firmware 1.33 but that shouldn't have any influence on IDVD ????

Hope you can help have a lot of holiday clips that needs to be burned..

What type of DVD-R's are you using?

Iam using DATASAFE 2x speed, which burns just fine in toast, haven't any problems there. Just in IDVD.

Not that this will help I guess but I suffered 'freezes' rather than 'quits' in doing what you are. Fortunately this happened before any disks got burnt. My 'solution' was simply to try again. Ratio of about 3 freezes to 1 successful burn.

Did you try turning your energy settings off. I found that when I first started burning DVD's with iDVD that it would crash everytime my energy setting were on (i.e. screen saver, system sleep). Once i turned those things off, I was burning full DVD's without a problem.
