I find that the instructions and guides are quite informative but invariably I seem to be running into a roadblock no matter what. Adam (moderator) clued me in to the fact that DVD2AVI would not accept MPEG-1...a fact that would have saved me several hours of beating my head against a wall wondering why DVD2AVI would not cooperate with me when the instructions/guides said that it would.

I think a nice addition to the TOOLS section would be something like the below added to each tool covered in the section:

INPUTS ALLOWED

AVI *
DV
DIVX
MOV
MPEG-1
MPEG-2 **
MPEG-4
NTSC
PAL
WMV
* with aviXXX plugin
** with MPEG2 plugin
THE ORANGE MEANS NOT SUPPORTED AT ALL.

This might be somewhat impractical so another possibility would be to only mention what the tool would NOT ACCEPT as input and the asterisk items...ie MPEG-2 input supported with such and such plugin. Would mean a lot of work for someone but would help in alleviating many questions on this forum in particular. Just a thought...
