VCD doesnt play

Hey guys
i burned a couple VCDs using nero but the thing is that the VCD only works in my computer and one of my DVD players(its pretty old, i got it when DVD players first came out). My other DVD player which is less than a year old doesnt read the VCD but it says it does support VCDs.

Is there any way i can fix this? any help would be greatly appreciated

Does it say it supports CDR's, as the VCD plays in your other DVD player it would appear that there is nothing wrong with the disc.

when it plays in my other VCD player, the newer one, it tries to read it and after about 20 seconds it says inserts disc, but the VCD is still in there

Like I said does your newer player play CDR's ok. Some DVD players support VCD but only pressed originals, because they will not play CDR's.
