How do I turn .dat files into mpeg files I can watch?
Is it not possible to get a burner to run at 1x or 2x for burning speed?
Thanks.

If everything is infinite then nothing is definite.

I think it would be the software that would determine the burning speed.[/quote]"Today is only yesterdays tomorrow" -

The longwinded way would be to use a program, the easier way would be to use ISOBuster to extract the dat file from the disk, but those the filter MP2 frames option.
Another way of doing this would be to just rename the .dat to .mpg and you have a playable file. Ie: if you are using windoze then goto windoze explorer, highlight the file, right click, select rename delete the .dat and replace with .mpg

You can let the software you are using determine the speed if you like, or purchase an old burner or you could purchase some low speed disks ie: x1 x4 speed. Then use them to burn your files onto. The question of course would be why would you want to?
