the name of factory is MBI from Asia, and the dye we are using is from mitsubishi dye which is the same dye Pioneer, TDK, Optical disc, and many known brands are using. And the describtion of this product is silver top and light purple on recording. we had done various testing on this product already with pioneer 103, 104 (can be written at 2x with firmware 1.4 on pioneer 104 drive and 103 needed firmware of 2.0) the rest of the drives out there in the market will be able to burn at 4x within 20 min. Ritek can't burn 4x at all time, but with this media, they could be burn 4x without further delay. for those who had sony 500a drive, will need to downloard the newest firmware from sony.com of 2.0f then you are ready to rock. yes, it is a little bit of work, but does save you big bucks!!

go to DVD-R media, then to 4x, and check out the speedy media. It's as low as .99 I believe for a minimal 300 pack. For lesser quanitites, it's a little more then $1.00. But free shipping is inclusive.
