  1. I keep getting sound sync problems with TMPGE when i cut out parts of a family video the words are before there mouth move! I've tried over and over but still the sound is not in sync with the video after i edit it. Is there any other programs like TMPGE to use to cut and merge MPEG-2?

Are the files you are cutting creating with TMPGEnc?
If not, try another editor, it's proved unreliable at cutting 'foreign' clips.
If they were created with TMPGEnc what are you using to view the files with?
Are you burning to disk and watching on your standalone player?
If you are using Windows Media Player, don't.

I'm having the same problem with mpeg-1 and mpeg-2.

I create mpeg files from DV avi files using TMPGENC. Then I use the mpeg tools feature to merge the mpeg files together. Whether its a 20 minute mpeg-1 or a 2 hour mpeg-2, (final sizes), TMPGENC causes the audio to be out of sync with the video.

I have tried File Merger program wich merges the file and keeps them in sync but Ulead's DVD MF has problems working with the files, chapters, thumbnails, etc.

Any other programs available to merge mpeg files?
