I have 2 mpg files I got off the internet that I want to put onto DVD using Ulead. But when I put them in it tells me there is no video file. I can play them on my windows media player and they are fine. I tried to put them into virtualdub and it says something about it not being able to convert it because Microsoft owns the copy rights on ASF?

for virtual dub you must use an earlier version 1.4 c or something like that available to the left
or you can use stoik video convertor at stoik.com to convert to avi
or you can use asftoools to convert to avi -
I tried stiok and it converts it but the file I got upon trying it was over 3 GB for a 53 second clip. I set the video compressor to codec 4.12 and the audio compressor to PCM. The video was very choppy but the audio was not. It comes out more like a slideshow with audio than a movie file.
