Jomo, you must work for, or have stock in shop4tech.com because everyone of your recent posts have mentioned them. What's the deal? They giving you free stuff or something?

Well, I don't work for Shop4Tech.
I also recommend them. I bought my last batch of 100 DVD-R's from them for $89.99 including free shipping and no tax. The DVD's burn at 2X and not one coaster in the bunch. They play perfectly in my three standalone DVD players (which is more than I can say for the more expensive Verbatim DVD-R's I tried). I have also given them out to friends- not one complaint! -

I am not working for shop4tech.com, it is just I am up to my limit with meritline.com, supermeidastore.com, rima.com and meritline.com's relative companies who are all cheating customers on the fake products and claim something which is not even true. take a look with the recent posting about these companies who are big time cheater. This is just a typical Chinese own company and treat you good first then start getting very very funky after one or two transaction. why I talked so much about shop4tech.com is because I had personally spend over $5000 with them since last Sept. and they had never screwed me over for one time, and they called me if there is a back order. try it, you will know what I am talking about!! by the way, they are offering dvdr media for only $85.99 free shipping now!!

I also have been recently purchasing all my DVD media from Shop4Tech.com. The media that I have tried so far have all worked perfectly. Out of 75+ disc's burned I have not had even a single coaster. Also I like their customer service. I once ordered some media from them which was back ordered. When I called to check on my order about a week later I actually got a sales rep and not some voice mail rubbish. After checking on my order he then offered me an upgrade to a more expensive media at the same price because he couldn't give me an ETA for the media I originally ordered. He then asked what make & model of DVD-R drive I had. After I told him he told me if I had a certain version of firmware on my drive that I would be able to burn 2x on some of their 1x media. This showed me that they know what they are talking about. Well at least the rep that I talked to anyway.

What brand of DVR's you guys having all the success with Shop4Tech ? I saw at least 3 different brands offered. I've been using nothing but Ritek because all the good feedback I've gotten from this forum, but they are a little pricey.
-
Sounds good, guys! Which brand are you getting from shop4tech that is so good? I've been using Optodisc, very reliable.

The media I've been using is the LEDA brand which are actually Princo's. I know a lot of people don't like this brand and will say it's junk, but I've had great success so far. In fact in terms of compatibility it's one of the best I've come across. It plays in most of the stand alone players I've tried without problem. I've listed the direct Shop4Tech link below.

Kinda neat..... if you order 100, they send you four sleeves of 25 each, just like in the photo. Very easy to store that way, instead of that tall 100 disc sleeve. -

PS... I have the Sony DRU500AX, they do burn at 2X on this drive.
