    Just bought a 10 pack of emtek dvd-r's last week. All but 2 of the movies I burned had errors. Mostly "scsi target error". I updated aspi and still no luck. I never had this problem before, I used to burn with TDK discs, guess I'll be going back to them.

    I have burned about 20 emtec -r disks and never had a problem. I guess a lot would depend on the burner. I am using a Sony 500AX.

    give it a try with shop4tech's house brand dvdr media, work with sony dru 500 without any problem and also burn in 2x after upgrade firmware from sony. !!!

    Jomo, you must work for, or have stock in shop4tech.com because everyone of your recent posts have mentioned them. What's the deal? They giving you free stuff or something?

    I've burned a bunch of Emtecs, on a Pioneer 105. No coasters, and the quality was quite good, and cheap.
