Hi everyone, I just wanted to know exactly what kinds of things you do to keep your computer running at optimal performance. I just make sure I know what processes are running and prevent myself from running pointless processes. What does everyone do to keep your computer running fast?????

You'll find people that say capture to a different drive than where your operating system is. Bigger block sizes (allocation units) on your hard drive is supposed to speed it (your drive) up. Close any prgrams you arent using.... Someone else throw some in......

Defragment the hard drive every so often.
