  1. I have a Divx file that is encoded in AC3, but the audio is VERY low. Is there a way to normalize or increase the volume without reencoding anything? If this is not possible, what woud be my best solution? Thanks in advance.

Well, turning up the volume wont work.

What would be the best way to re-encode it? Since its AC3 audio, what do I have to do? If you could lead me to the direction of what I have to do, that would be great. THanks.

use besweet and save as 6 wave files ...

in besweet you can then normalize the audio at the same time ..

re-encode it to ac3 with your fav ac3 encoder

    or

open avi/ac3 in goldwave (after you installl ac3 codec in tools section)

raise volume or normalize and save out as 6 waves ... re-encode using your favorite ac3 encoder

  5. This might be a stupid question, but how do i normalize with BeSweet? Also, could I convert AC3 to WAV then use VirtualDub to encode the wav and avi video? I dont have a 6 speaker stereo, so I wont take advantage of the AC3.
