    Hey guys, I was really considering buying a portable DVD player because Id like to use it to watch my VCDs. But, Im not sure if it works with all of the portable dvd players. If anyone knows any models or brands that work with SVCDs please tell me. Even though these damn things are expensive I want one, I know I could just get a laptop but Id want to get a really good one so it doesnt get obsolete quickly and thats just too expensive. So thats all thanx guys!

    I have a Panasonic and it plays everything :
    cdr, cdrw, vcd, svcd, dvd -r/w, dvd +r/w & mp3 (on cdr).

    Brilliant player.

    I have the panasonic LV50 which plays SVCD ,dvd-+r/W, vcd and many more.

    A Shinco 360, 380 or 5820 is also very good... Only 5820 has never been sold outside China ...
