If you look at the description it is +RW, but the pic shows -R 4x. Has anyone bought this and which one is it (wish vendors would get it straight)

Has anyone used the TDK -R 4x ? Price is kind of high, sometimes think that better to spend for 2x and have 30min burn time instead of 15 min burn time.

I'd go the by the write up. That these are +RW discs. And it does not mention 4x anywhere even though it is in the picture.

Usually web sites have a disclaimer saying something like "actual item may vary from picture" and while it doesn't exactly say that... http://www.circuitcity.com/cs_contentdisplay.jsp?c=1&b=g&inleftcat=Help+%26+Services&incat=11015 (scroll all the way down to "errors on our web site") it does mention may contain "inaccurate or incomplete data"

  3. I'm with Mark. Never trust the pictures on those sites. Always go with the product description.

  4. You would figure by now that the + or - would be known issue with these web sites/stores.

Went to Circuit City and they are the TDK 5-Pack of 4.7GB High-Speed DVD+RWs, the photo is wrong . I had printed out the ad prior to going and the manager said he would allow to pick up 2 packs of theses for the same price. They are only 2x, but thats cool.

  6. I have purchased the TDK DVD-R from Circuit City at the store. It looks nothing like that picture, the cover was white. I also know that they do make both type + and -. I've only seen 4X DVD-R, I haven't seen 4X DVD+R but that doesn't mean that they don't exist, like that picture indicates. Good Luck. I hate when they do S*@T like that.
