any way to get TSCV... and fast forward in chapters

any way to get TSCV to add in the empty "segment" folder (while making a .cue file)? Also, I was able to create chapters and burn it with cdrwin, but when I go to the "next" chapter and hit the fast forward button the chapter starts over rather than skipping ahead. The fast forward seems to work fine on the first chapter, but doesn't work on any chapter after that. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I would have to say that the settings in the properties box were off. I have made many menus and chapters with TSCV and all work great and in the order they are suppose to. Tell me exactly what you are wanting and adding to tscv and i will let you know what the settings should be.

also if you post at TTools site you might get more answers since most people on TTools site are working with this proggie.

you are right, i have the options unchecked (enable media player on chapter tab, enable vfapi for menu work, etc). However these options appear in the settings tab, I can't seem to find the "properties box". Rhe reason why I left them unchecked is that when I leave them selected I get an error message when I double click on the mpg file in menu. Is that normal?

All I want is to have chapters, and to be able to fast forward in these chapters.

Also I am not sure what you mean about the ttools forum. Where is that?

okay, I am an idiot. Ttools forum, the site where i got the progam to begin with. Also, I found the properties box...screwed around with it and still no fast forward. Can someone please help me out, it's driving me nuts. I posted over at ttools and no response. Seems no one has an answer.

You said all you want is chapters and to beable to fast forward in them. All you have to do is click on the cd on the menu page and add the mpeg, then double click on the mpeg and that will atake you to the chapters page. Now in the box that says make a chapter every ___seconds, put what you want and hit enter. this will show you all the chapters that you will have in the chapters box.
this will give you the chapters and all you have to do is create the cue/bin file.
You should be able to fast forward and rewind and hit the next button and the # buttons to move between the chapters.

I usually only make svcd's and never had the prob you had but you said you are making vcd's so i don't know if that is causing it or not. Give this a try and repost to let em know how it went. good luck

One other thing i just want to mention is that if you are doing vcd's then you need to have the cdi folder within the tscv folder.

If all you want are chapters and be able to FF, why don't you just use VCDImager which is easier and simplier than TSCV.
