I am a n00b at this Video compression
Is DivX5 or XviD the better Codec?
I want to fit the .VOB of a 100 minute action Movie onto a 700Mb CD
Tried a few settings but when the action scenes start it is heavily pixelated
Is it possible to get a 720px resolution using either CBR or VBR
Any insight appreciated
tia

Lol, 100 min on a CD???!!!!
At 720???!!!!
wow, u r a noob.
ok, screw the 720, and use 512x288
Use Mpeg4 (Mencoder)
have the bitrate at about 700
Have it set at HQ, Bframes, 4 motion vectors, and two pass encoding.
Have ur audio be an AC3, since it is smaller, but better quality.
that should do it
