  1. Hi,

I have a divx avi film with the original sound and an extra dubbed ogg/vorbis audio track. I´m trying to create an NTSC SVCD that contains only the dubbed sound.

While I don´t have any problems creating the SVCD itself, I don´t get ffmpegX to use the dubbed track for it. Although I entered this track in "add audio" I end up with the original sound. I also tried to use the resulting .mpv to "add audio" there, but that did not work as well.

Is it possible to do what I want to do with ffmpegX in one session? If not how can I use the .mpv with the dubbed track to make an SVCD?

If this does not work as well, which programs could I use to join the divx file with the ogg/vorbis sound. Could I transcode the resulting file with ffmpegX?

    Thanks for any help!

  2. SVCDs can only use mp2 audio. So convert your ogg audio to mp2 and then use the Mux tool to combine a .m2v video file with the .mp2 audio file.

  3. Exactly that was what I was trying to do with ffmpegx or would I have to use another program for that?

What I tried was to use the.mpv file as source with encode video declicked. The Ogg track was aded to "add audio" to be converted to mp2. Or does the audio have to be mp2 already when added?
