can you do multisession with dvd because when i try my standalone comes up with disc error

here is what im trying to do i have 6 cd-r,s of mp3 files in the mp3 format and i want to put them all on one dvd-r
when i drag and drop the lot i get a cache error so i was going to do half with multisession but not much sucess
