Solution to white band on Capture

Ok .... after doing a forum search on "white band" I found the solution ... doahhhh. I was the damn latest capture drivers from Nvidia!! I didn't recognize it since it started out as somewhat intermittent and developed into pretty consistent. I had lost the ability to capture with VirtualDub VHS that I had captured previously .... my own movies. The driver that fixed it was WDM 1.08 and I couldn't find it on the Nvidia site ..... I found it on driverguide.com. My problem looked like this ......:

I had the same problem. Thaanks for doing the investigstion into the problem. I tried downloading the older driver at driverguide.com with no luck, couldn't find the driver and the search kept bringing back "0" results.

This is where I ended up finding it ( http://bunny.xs4all.nl/software/nvidia.html ) tons of old Nvidia drives. A real gold mine if you need Nvidia graphics card drivers old or new.

Great site 2Fives ...... I added it too my Favorites. The trouble with Driverguide.com mostly is the have to register and fill in 5 pages of information it seems ... but the site you mentioned takes you right there. Thanks to all the people who made suggestions for me .... you know who you are, and you kept me from going crazy.
