I finally managed to setup a working HDMI recording solution. I am able to record from my cable box and produce an avi file with a PCM 2ch embedded. I then have to use besplit to extract the ac3 from the wave file that I get from the avi. What is the best program to make a Blu Ray out of these files? I also need to be able to resink the ac3 file to the video, because the besplit ac.3 file is 6 seconds shorter. I also need to do 3/2 pulldown and convert to h.264. I can do all this with Adobe CS3, but I have to use three programs(premiere, after effects for the 3/2 pullldown and encore for the Blu Ray). Is there a program that can do it all in just two steps(capture, do 3/2 pulldown while converting to h.264)? Right now, I have to do it in three steps and the files are just huge(2 hour movie is 859GB).
Here is what I am using:
SA8300HD
Dtronics DD-D12p
Gefen DVI+SPDIF to HDMI to combine the DVI and the SPDIF
Blackmagic Intensity HDMI Capture Card
Thanks in advance,
Chris

Seems like a lot of work just to get a movie onto Blu-Ray. Wouldn't it be faster and much easier to just RIP the actual movie?
