Help Please......
I've created a mpeg in Pal, using the mpeg encoder in Adobe Premiere.
I have used media player to view the Mpeg and its fine.
I've then used Nero to add the Mpeg to a VCD.
Viewed the VCD in Media Player and its fine, also used Power DVD and it plays fine.
Played the VCD on 2 standalone DVD players and it plays, but it over spills on the left and right and I lose about 2" of the movie.
Any ideas.

This is normal when playing anything on a TV set. It's called overscan and yes, you lose something of about 5% on all four sides of the screen.
When you've played your mpg on a computer display before (which has no overscan) you'll indeed notice this.
