    I'm not sure what you mean. I always just ran the signal through a cable box and to the recording vcr, and it seems to remove all copy protection.

    if you can't modify your dvd player for this, you can get a modulator box for about 15-40 chalupas @ radioshack or something. converts composite video to rf - coax out.

    I just used a scientific atlanta box. you want to remove it from a vhs, right? Not a dvd?
