    Sorry if this has been asked before. Can a standalone DVD player play a VCD thats burned onto a 90 CDR?

    Also, does your writer need to support overburning to write onto these discs?

    once your player can play vcds it can play 90 minute cd-r, now if your player can play xvcds, then your screwed, because in the majority of dvd players, most are locked to only play1h and 20 min vcd, so anything longer will just cut out, go out and check the compatibility list on this site, otherwise, go buy an apex dvd player, its basically a computers dvd drive hooked up to a motherboard, then ran into your tv...the quality is just as good, and all i do is make xvcds, i cant stand to get up after a certain time just to change a disc...holla
