OK,
So I bought the ADVC-100 and I have XP, SP1. I've connected S-vid, audio (L/R) into the 100 and firewire to my Sony Vaio (6-pin on vaio, 4pin on ADVC).
So - fire up scenalyzer and I have vid, but no audio. I've done a bunch of searching here and while I see folks with lots of problems like this - I have yet to find the answer...
So - sorry if this is something that's been asked and answered but I can't find it...
So - if anyone can point me towards the answer, much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Kevin,
I have an ADVC-100 and also had problems like this when starting out. Your problem most likely is due to the fact that most applications use VFW and XP uses WDM for video capture across firewire.
I have seen this with several applications including VirtualDub
Snag a copy of DVIO and see if your problem goes away. I believe there is a link to it in the tools sections of this forum.
You might also think about downloading one of the Ulead trial programs and giving them a try.
Good luck,
Dave
----edit----
I am not very familiar with Scenalizer, if it uses WDM, it might be a DV type 1 vs type 2 issue.Just what is this reality thing anyway?
