Hello all,
I wanted to draw on some of the knowledge here to save myself a little trial and error.
My question is in regards to DVD media and comapability with players. Is there any one kind that is more likely to play then others or is this an issue of the player its self?
Also, I have been looking to buy DVD and CD media in bulk. Are there any reccomended brands that are better than others? My burner is a Sony DRU-500AX
Thanks!
Troy

The sort answer to your first question is yes. The media does make a difference with compatiblity. But also the player plays a part there also. So the higher quality brands will play on more players usually then the utra cheap ones.
As far as disk to try on your burner I dont use a sony, but depending on how cheap your looking for I'd suggest playing with a small number of either Ritek or Samsung BeAll DVD-Rs and see how they work out for ya.
