Hello All,
I have a problem with playing some of my DivX movies on my TV. I have a Matrox video card, which enables me to output to my TV. With most of my DivX movies I get an image but with others the screen remains blue. Could anyone tell me why? Is there something that I must download?
Thanks,
Persis

Click your right hand mouse on the AVI and select properties > Details. Find out what the codec is, and make sure you have it installed.
Control Panel > MultiMedia > Devices > Video Compression Codec's -
Thanks for your prompt reply. I actually fixed the problem by downloading "the Playa". It works just fine.
Thanks again,

I think the 'Playa' automatically installs the new Divx4 codec, which would explain why it works now - so those files should now play in WMP or any other player as well.
