Hello everyone,
I have a (divx) avi file with excellent AC3 sound. I have attempted to create from it (using DVD2SVCD) an MPEG2 file with 5.1 sound.
When played, the MPEG2 file has a strange sound artifact, sort of like a metallic distortion/wabbling, mostly noticable on the higher frequencies.
I have used the MPEG5.1 encoder that came with DVD2SVCD. If I put plain vanilla stereo sound in the MPEG file it sounds OK, but it's 2 channels .
Is there some "secret" here I am not yet aware of?
Thanks in advance...
