  1. Hi. I'm quite new to this. Just yesterday I burnt The Fast And The Furious, (Xeno's Version)and when I played it in my DVD player it was skipping like crazy. First it would slow down and then speed up, it was all choppy, and the sound was choppy also. The program I used to burn the CD was Nero. I used a Memorex Platnium CD-RW (the best CD I could use for my dvd player [Oritron Dvd200]) and I burnt it at x4. Then I retried it x1. I know it's not the CD that's screwing up because I burnt the new episode of Jackass and it worked perfectly with not 1 screwup. Can anybody explain to me what is happening and what I can do to fix this? Please remember that I am a newbie so when u give me an explaination, put it into simple terms and try and walk me through this. Thanks in advance.

PS. I saw a problem like this posted before but I couldn't seem to find it.

  2. If I were to have this movie and we all know that it wouldn't be legal...here's what would've given me the best result. Can your player support SxVCD from Sefy's template? If it can, I would suggest using it to re-encode.
I hypothetically checked the following in tmpgenc:
    ghost reduction
    noise reduction
    soften macro-block noise
    I hypothetically unchecked the following:
    detect scene changes
force picture type (if already checked)
I hypothetically used "high quality" for motion search and hypothetically re-encoded and hypothetically got a better result. Whoever originally encoded it didn't do a good job. This movie has a lot of fast action scenes and night scenes. I found that hypothetically speaking these options gave me the best result. Hope this helps even if it is HYPOTHETICAL!

Liquid, which encoder do you use, to which stream typ (mpeg1/2) do you encode, which settings or which template do you use. Filters and HighQuality might be unintresting at start, because you just want to play at all.
When you give us some details what you did, it is easier to find a way to solve.

  4. I have no clue about any encoders. All I did was download the rar files and got the Bin/Cue. Then from there I used VCDGear 2.0 and made all CD1. I then used nero to make the VCD. That's all I did.

    PS. I'm a dumbass

OK,don't convert the .bin to .mpg. Just burn the bin with NERO.
