    No matter how many times I download the Codec MPEG-4 V3, so I can use virtual dub, it continually says "Couldn't locate decompressor for format MP43 Microsoft high speed MPEG-4 V3.
    What am I doing wrong?

    you have to get an older version of virtualdub. the new ones can't open asf files.

    VirtualDub 1.3c is the version of VirtualDub that opens ASF files. You can download it in the Tools Section to your left.
