I've gaven up on this movie unless I can get something here so here it is. I have a movie thats in xvid format, Ive downloaded and installed the correct codecs so that I am able to open in all programs. (vdub, tmpge) I ripped the audio to a seperate wav file no problem there, I then used tmpge to split the movie in two and covert to mpeg for coping to vcd. The first half the sound was extremely far off like -11000 ms but nevertheless I got it recorded to a good mpeg file that everything is good on sound is in sync and video looks good all the way through.
Now for some crazy reason I cannot for the life of me get the 2nd half to work, my tmpge now gets these pointer errors which usually I can hit cancel and it just goes away, or the program just shuts down, or once I start the encoding it will error out saying error occurred after encoding the audio, or if I get lucky enough to actually get started on the process parts of the movie starts just going black still have sound but no picture.
I even tried to use vdub to just convert the entire original file over to divx and it error out.
For info on original movie its a beautiful burn no gliches sound is perfect no dark spots probably best burn ive seen in my short experience.
so if anyone has any suggestions or knows why this could be happening I would greatly appreciate
