  1. I have this device from Pinnacle Systems
It has RCA jacks, S-Video and Coax
It basically allows me to hook up anything to it using RCA jacks, Coax or S-Video.
I run TV into the coax part of it and it works fine
I get a great picture and I'm able to record fine

The problem I'm having is when I go to burn what it creates. I have messed around with this for months and tried calling pinnacle, but the hold time was over 2 hours long. Can anyone help me with this device or have any idea on how to burn the files to dvd that it creates. I have a pioneer dvd burner and I tried using Nero and Record Max to burn and basically gives me erros saying something that the format or don't have the correct files.

Here are the files that are created when I capture something from my TV with it:

MPEG 2 FILE (it's about 852 megs, about 20 minutes of recording)
    Untitiled 2.pmf ( 1 kb) PMF file
    Untitled 2.pmf.info ( 1 kb) INFO file
    Untitled 2. pmf.thumb 6 kb) Thumb file

These are the 4 files I get. I'm able to view this using Windows Media Player fine, but as I mentioned before I want to record it to a dvd

    Thanks in advance

  2. bt,

    I have the Bungee.

You have to demux the mpg2 file to get the elementary video and audio files, then input into a DVD authoring program like DVDit! and author a DVD before you try to burn to disc. Problem is that Bungee captures audio in noncompliant 44.1K mp2 format. So you need to convert to 48K wav, ac3 or mp2 file. You can use TMPGenc to export a compliant wave file or convert to 48K mp2 audio -- or SoftEncode (if you can find it) to convert to ac3.

I'm sure there's other options. Pinnacle has a Bungee forum here that provides further solutions for converting the audio to compliant DVD file:
