Hi:
I have the Hauppauge PVR-250 and it comes with a program called nanoPEG editor that cuts and joins. It worked fine and outputted a file that runs on the PC, but TMPGEnc or DVD authoring programs don't recognize the outputted file as valid.
Has anyone used this software and been able to burn the outputted file?
Thanks in advance.

Please disregard this post. I believe the problem was that the only time I tried this program my source file was not captured as a "Program" stream on my WinTV application. The file works fine when captured in "Program" stream.

I tried nanoPEG version 2.3 today; it let me cut and join MPEG2 segments and created a composite file. Then I tried to add chapter points with Ulead DMF2; it had trouble adding chapters toward the end of the file. Then I burned to DVD-RW and my Sony player could not skip to the chapter points that were created. All original files were captured in Program Stream. Can anyone suggest what I am doing wrong?
