    I have a chance to buy emtec dvd-r disks 1x 25 spindle for $34.99.
    Is this a good deal? also what is a more compatible disk 1x or 2x media?
    I have a 2x record dvd drive, can I use 1x media?

    I never knew why they changed there name but yes they are basf!!! They used to be quite good disks for the price when I wa buying them a few years ago but really considering the price of other media made by prodisk or ritek... I'd go for them as they R better & cheaper
