    Hello all, I have recorded tapes to drive on my MTV MDR1000 recorder. I have then dubbed on to disc . I can't play the discs. If i put in computer I get "blank disc"? I have also recorded TV movies and transferred to disc. These will play on recorder but not on anything else. Am I doing something wrong or missing something I should be doing during the dubbing process? Or is it normal that discs only play on recorder?

    Did you finalize the discs?
    If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?

    thanks for the reply No it didn't give me the opportunity. Can that still be done after the disc has been removed?

    Absolutely. You'll just need to find in the menus of your recorder where to initiate it. The manual should tell you.

    Hello dare, I dubbed 3 discs & they auto finalized. These played back Ok on both recorder & computer. The next one didn't and ,no I don't have an option to go back & finalize. Not in instructions and can't find in any menu
