  1. Ok i thought i was being smart by downloading some avi files. Well i was going to encode them later and some were to big to fit on one disk. so i used avi splitter to split them now i would really like to know how i get them back together so i can encode them to vcd so i dont have such strange file sizes. I know how to use tmpgenc for encoding without a problem however i am not sure how i need to go about rejoining these avi files that were origionally one to start with?? any help i would be so very grateful

    In VirtualDub, open the first avi file, go back to the file menu, select append avi, select the second file (this merges the files) then save as avi to a new filename.
