    Hi people.

I'm starting to get very annoyed here. I've got a mpeg 1 video thats 758mb, and a title screen video that is like 1.6mb. I wrote my xml to include only those two videos (I used vcd easy to make the xml.) When I use vcdxbuild to make my bin+cue, the bin file is like 876mb. So where does the extra 115mb come from? I can't fit that on 1 cd-r and I don't wanna have to re-encode to a lower bitrate. Is there a better xml generation proggy that is free? I have nero, but I only use it for burning since it doesn't allow much flexibility on vcd's.

    Thanx

  5. Try demuxing your mpegs and then re-muxing with bbMPEG using the following settings:

    Stream type: MPEG 1
    Pack Size: 2324

Then try generating the image again.

Sorry if you've already done this (or similar) but you haven't provided any information on how you made the mpeg files.

    Hope that helps...

...or remux with TMPGEnc with stream type set to VCD (Non standard). It may be that VCDImager is padding the stream.

    Thanx.

I de-muxed and then re-muxed as a nonstandard vcd in tmpg, and that fixed tha problem. I appreciate it.
