i downloaded a movie and its 1hr 10 mins long, but the meg is about 720 will i be able to make it onto a vcd or will it say i dont have enough space?

Yes, you can fit nearly 800 MB of MPEG to a CD in VCD format. Depending of what you use to create the VCD, it may say that it wont fit, but it will.
