The requested audio compression is not compatible with the input format. Check that the sample rate and channel count of the input match those of the requested format.

Thats the message I'm getting when I try to extract my audio to WAV before encoding my .avi to SVCD in TMPG.
    I'm using V DUB 1.4.

    Any ideas?.

    Thx

    1. Select under Audio->Full processing mode
    2. Select Audio-> Compression. Then, select No Compression (PCM)
    3. Select Audio->Conversion. Change the the Sampling rate to 44100Hz if you are going to make VCD or SVCD MPEGs and 48000Hz if you are going to make DVD's.
    4. Save the wav by clicking on File->Save WAV. The wav will be a huge audio uncompressed video file if you haven't selected any compression like mp3.

    Hope That Helps!!! :P
